چکیده

Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Introduction Differential pacing (DP) maneuver was generally used to assess bidirectional block cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) after catheter ablation. Purpose The purpose the study is identify limitation DP and suggest continuous sequence (CS) as a complement differential pacing. Methods Patients who were diagnosed typical atrial flutter underwent ablation enrolled. CTI conduction evaluated by two maneuver, CS maneuver. We tried for each patient with both maneuvers. With assessed recorded diagnostic catheter. Results Sixty patients investigated. Two maneuvers performed in all patients. There 8 cases (8/62, 12.9%) discrepancy between result One cases, identified but insufficient rest (11.2%) opposite. Conclusion could not guarantee because anatomical complexity instability. found incomplete over 10% conventional simple can be overcome

Prevalence and types of pitfall in the assessment of mitral isthmus linear conduction block.

BACKGROUND To identify and understand clinically encountered pitfalls in the assessment of transmitral conduction block using differential coronary sinus and left atrial appendage pacing techniques in patients with left mitral isthmus linear ablation. METHODS AND RESULTS All the available assessments of mitral isthmus block were thoroughly reviewed in 271 mitral isthmus ablation procedures un...

Rate-dependent conduction block of the crista terminalis in patients with typical atrial flutter: influence on evaluation of cavotricuspid isthmus conduction block.

BACKGROUND The crista terminalis (CT) has been identified as the posterior boundary of typical atrial flutter (AFL) in the lateral wall (LW) of the right atrium (RA). To study conduction properties across the CT, rapid pacing was performed at both sides of the CT after bidirectional conduction block was achieved in the cavotricuspid isthmus by radiofrequency catheter ablation. METHODS AND RES...

Cavotricuspid isthmus high-density mapping

Typical atrial flutter (AFL) is a common arrhythmia that is responsible for about 10% of all hospitalizations for supraventricular tachycardia in adults. The reentrant circuit through the cavotricuspid isthmus is located in the right atrium, and the left atrium is then activated passively. Cavotricuspid isthmus radiofrequency (RF) ablation is considered a first-line therapy to achieve rhythm co...

Misleading long post-pacing interval after entrainment of typical atrial flutter from the cavotricuspid isthmus.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prevalence and mechanism of a misleading long post-pacing interval (PPI) upon entrainment of typical atrial flutter (AFL) from the cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI). BACKGROUND In typical AFL, the PPI from entrainment at the CTI is expected to closely match the tachycardia cycle-length (TCL). METHODS Sixty patients with confirmed CTI-depend...

His bundle capture proximal to the site of bundle branch block: A novel pitfall of the para-Hisian pacing maneuver

Paced QRS morphology should be assessed to differentiate between complete loss of His bundle capture and loss of distal His bundle capture alone. This might be enough in patients with proximal right bundle branch block; however, in patients with proximal left bundle branch block, QRS morphology might be similar with loss of His bundle capture and with proximal His bundle capture. Introduction T...
